This is going around for quite sometime on the net now. But nothing is being done about it.
I have heard that if you have any sort fo problem she can cure it by just hugging you and wisphering something in your ears. Don't know how far it is true.
But i think someone needs to shout it in her ear to pay attention to whats happening around her.

The lady you are talking about is from Kerala called "Amma" who is also known as Hugging Saint. She has nothing to do with this Nirmala Devi.

Atleast the Indians in this part of the world are more alert.
Dubai: Uproar from the Indian community in the UAE on the manner in which the Indian National Flag was displayed on bath towels has led Unilever Arabia to withdraw all such towels from the shelves.
An objection was also raised by the Indian Consulate in Dubai which asked the company to withdraw the promotional product from the market with immediate effect.
The flag was printed on towels which were distributed free along with consumer products in leading supermarkets in Dubai and the northern emirates. The promotion was designed to raise excitement around the upcoming Cricket World Cup.
"If we have inadvertently offended any persons we apologise," said Rola Tassabeji, Corporate Communications Manager for Unilever Middle East.
"I was fuming to see my country's flag being displayed so disgracefully. I called up the Indian Consulate and notified them," said Madhav Venkatapathy, a Dubai-based Indian.
"It is our national pride. I will not tolerate anyone displaying it so cheaply," said Bhavesh Shah, a Dubai-based businessman.
"I don't think the display of the national flag on towels was a deliberate act. But I must add it was in poor taste," said Hemant Kulkarni, a Dubai-based designer.
In a statement to Gulf News the Indian Consulate said the display of Indian flags is governed by the provisions of the Emblem and Names (Prevention of Improper use) Act (1950) and Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act of India (1971). It added that distribution of the towels appears to be a violation of the legislation.
"The Consulate has conveyed the matter to the companies concerned and asked them to withdraw with immediate effect all towels with the Indian National Flag printed on them and desist from distributing them any further," said a consulate official.
Unilever Arabia told Gulf News it never intended to offend anyone. Tassabeji yesterday confirmed they had been contacted by the Indian Consulate which "raised concerns over our use of the image of an Indian flag."
"Although Unilever Arabia had received permission to run this type of promotion locally, we have decided to respond to the Indian Consulate's concerns by removing from stores all promotional items carrying the image of the Indian flag," she said.
