If you like No Entry, Golmaal, Hera Pheri, Welcome etc. kind of films, you might like this one too.
This has to be the most ironic title ever. The problems never cease in ‘No Problem’, an unending series of funny, though disjointed scenes. Don’t go looking for a plot. There isn’t one. Don’t go looking for sense. There ain’t none. But that doesn’t matter if you leave your brain aside while watching this movie.
The film has Anil Kapoor, Akshay Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, Suneil Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Kanagan Ranaut etc. etc. Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Khanna play Yash and Raj, two small-time crooks. Paresh Rawal is called Zhandulal. Anil Kapoor is a cop, whose wife (Sushmita Sen) has a split personality. Kangana Ranaut is an empty-headed bimbette who thinks she is the most beautiful girl in this world. And Suniel Shetty, chief baddie, shows up once in a while with his group to demand tonelessly where the diamonds are, which he stole in the first place.
The place where this bunch is located is Durban, which allows the film to show beaches and bikinis and bare butts. And black people to be turned into the butt of bad jokes. Kangana Ranaut, a newbie to this kind of comedy, is given the stand-out line in the film (while comparing herself to another girl): Woh TV hai, main plasma, woh Indica hai, main Ferrari. Tells a lot about the kind of movie this is.
Verdict: Can watch once.
