'मटककली' का मोहपाश और मटुकनाथ गेट आउट...!

"मटुकनाथ, गेट आउट...!" जी हाँ, ठीक सुना आपने। पटना विश्वविद्यालय ने आखिरकार प्रोफेसर मटुकनाथ को कुछ ऐसा ही फरमान सुनाया है और विश्वविद्यालय से बाहर का रास्ता दिखा दिया। विश्वविद्यालय में शनिवार को हुई सिंडिकेट की बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से प्रोफेसर चौधरी को बर्खास्त करने का निर्णय लिया गया। मटुकनाथ चौधरी पटना विश्वविद्यालय के बी. एन. कॉलेज में हिंदी के प्रोफेसर थे। करीब छह साल पहले मटुकनाथ तब सुर्खियों में आए थे, जब प्रोफेसर साहब की पत्नी ने उन्हें और उनकी प्रेमिका व छात्रा जूली को रंगे हाथ रासलीला करते पकड़ लिया था। जिसके बाद मटुकनाथ और उनकी प्रेमिका जूली की सरेआम धुनाई हुई थी। बाद में उन्हें निलंबित भी कर दिया गया था।
फिलहाल प्रोफेसर साहब की छुट्टी तो हो गई, लेकिन एक अहम् सवाल अभी भी मुंह बाये खड़ा है। देश के अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के रंगीन मिजाज अध्यापकों को कौन ठिकाने लगाएगा ? ऐसे ही तमाम 'मटुकनाथ' और उनकी 'मटककली' का नैन-मटक्का आख़िर कौन रोकेगा ? साथ ही, भोली-भाली छात्राओं का यौन उत्पीड़न करने वालों को भी दुरुस्त करने का वक़्त आ गया है। कभी रिसर्च के नाम पर, तो कभी अच्छे नंबर दिलाने का झांसा देने वालों अध्यापकों, अब तो सुधर जाओ... नहीं तो ऐसी ही किसी 'मटककली' का मोहपाश एक दिन तुम्हें भी ले डूबेगा...!

Move Over Ekta Kapoor, Patna has its own soap opera being telecast live to its public.

The police in Patna, on Friday, arrested B. N. College Hindi professor Mukut Nath Chowdhary, and a 25-year old woman Julie, after Chowdhary's wife called the police alleging her husband was having sexual relationship with the woman and had been sexually exploiting other young female students in exchange of better marks.

In a real-life soap opera unfolding in front of live television audience, the police arrested the love birds from the professor's house at Professor's Colony under Sultanganj police station.
As reported, earlier the professor's wife Abha Chowdhary who had been living in a house at M.I.G. Colony since Julie moved in with her husband on June 14, arrived at their Professor's Colony house and found the two in indecent conditions.

Angry at the scene, Mrs. Chowdhary, started to call names as the neighbors informed the police.

Both were taken into custody and brought to the Sultanganj police station.

Meanwhile, some unidentified men broke through the police cordon and painted the professor's face with black paint. The scene further took an ugly turn when Mrs. Chowdhary grabbed Julie by her long hair and tried to bump her head on the ground.

Abha Chowdhary has alleged that this is not the first time he had had sexual relationship with an young girl. "In the past, the professor had many physical relationships with female students and I have their love letters to prove that," she said.

"He had started a school in the seventies but had to close it down because of similar allegations at the time," she revealed.

Interestingly, neither the professor nor the 'woh', deny the allegations. "We both are in love with each other that the society fails to appreciate. It is much more than just plain love, it is much higher than that," an unashamed Julie told the police and media persons.

Julie is the daughter of a medical practitioner in Purnia. She has two sisters and one brother.

Chowdhary and Abha were married in 1978 and have a son who is said to be doing his MBA from a Swedish university.

Meanwhile, Patna University proctor Dr. Kriteshwar Prasad said the university will take any action against Professor Chowdhary only after his wife files a formal complaint with the university.

College professors were nearly unanimous in their criticism for the professor gone astray. "This kind of behavior is unbecoming of a teacher and gives a bad name to the entire teaching profession," said former Principal of Patna College Dr. P. N. Tiwari.

When couple of moths back , some 'educated' , 'modern' and 'progressive thinking' girls were allegedly beaten for drinking then similar moral police and media were aggressive to defend the girls for sake of law. News channels were rushed to show pink panty campaigns to pander over the emotion. Now , why these guys are unable to swallow freedom of two adults ?
