Need Help Guys

Hi Guys,

I am having a laptop with windows vista home edition, I got RSA key application, one rsa soft token and checkpoint vpn-1 secure client from my office to connect my laptop to office VPN, I installed everything as per the instructions. Now problem is, when I am trying to connect to vpn using client application, I am getting error message as follows:

Checking network connectivity...
Preparing connection...
Connecting to gateway...
IKE negotiation failed
Connection failed
Negotiation with gateway (abc) at site (xyz) has failed. Access denied - wrong user name or password


I did a lot of googling but didn't find a satisfactory answer to this problem. Please help me on this.

P.S. Due to policy reasons I have changed the values in () above.

I tried after keeping firewall off but it's not working in that case as well.

Ensure that both Windows firewall and any other firewall which comes with Antivirus software are off, then try again. If thats already done, try reducing your IE security level. Else reinstall the application with firewalls off.

If nothing works, contact your tech support :)
