The time office of a Mill used to get a call every day at 8.00-8.30 in the morning asking for the 'exact time'.
One day the exasperated operator asks the lady why does she phone DAILY and at that time only.
The lady says she is a Municipal employee and responsible for 'maintaining' the clock on the Tower in the main square, so she phones them daily to 'confirm' the time.
The company employee sheepishly informs her that their Mill's siren is blown 'exactly' at 9.00 o'clock only when it's 9.00 o'clock in the Towerr clock!
