Guys,
I dunno if you followed up this case, but I read most of the news..made me feel sick about the judiciary system. To term it rightly it was an lopsided investigation and shoddy prosecution.
What do you guys think.

GF bhai i feel sorry for jesicas parents.. It's become common now ppl with power n money can get away with any thing. same thing happened with priyadarshani matoo the killer got away, even the judge while delivering the verdict said i know that this guy is the killer but without enough evidence i'll have to give him benifit of doubt...
One thing is clear, a man can do any henious deed to satisfy his sexual urges, if we have to change any thing v'll have to change ourself first.

Yes I remember Priyadarshani Matoo's case, that was really cold..especially the judge saying to that guy that I k now you are guilty but lack of evidence is forcing me to free you.
Thats real bad.

Bhai, This is very sad... People go scot free because of their influence.. Crime is committed right in front of so many people in a very well known place.. where people know each other so well.... and absolutely no one to testify... its a mockery of the Judicial system

there is a saying "justice delayed is justice denied".....
in this case also, ample time was given to the accused, n all the witnesses turned hostile during the course of investigation, now the killer will walk freely due to lack of witness.

This is something I've wondered for a long time now..
Indian judiciary system is based on English common law & we r carrying the legacy of the british rule. The system was meant to protect the few holding power. It continues to be the same even today.
BUT...
Even Aus, NZ, Canada, Singapore, HK r all based on English common law.
So why is it so difficult to change it to suit the present society in India's case?
Judiciary holds the key to a healthy society. I am not for danda-raaj but when one is aware that he/she WILL be held accountable, then one acts in a more responsible way.
Looking closely at some of these countries I wonder if its really that difficult to achieve the same in India?
My childhood friend is a lawyer & I've had a chat with him about this..will do again when I visit..
but then back to the same damn story...Rang De Basanti :001_rolleyes: :001_rolleyes:

Finally in Nitish Katara case the judge ruled out that Vikas, Vishal Yadav are guilty. Justice served. Its been a long battle for Nitish's mom and finally she sees justice being served.
On the other hand Manu Sharma the prime accused in Jessica Lal's case was granted bail :angry::angry:
