I have grown on the Die Hard series of movies.
As a kid, the movies provide enough razaamatazz to keep me happy, you know the death defying stunts which included cars, planes, helicopter and what not. Those were reasons enough for me to watch them
Then as we grow older, the persona of John Mclane started weaving its magic. His persona, fu_ck cares attitude and his utter indifference for his own safety when he hinges onto a 100 storeyed building or jumping off a plane made an impact. What an attitude and character he displayed!
The latest edition is a swashbuckling roller coaster ride. It will make you grin from ear to ear at some places and will also make you spurt f words in amazement and abundance at some.
John plays the same uninterested retro-minded cop. In the present day when the ways of crime has changed, when havoc can be spread through computers John is some what a misfit. He doesn't understand technology much. All he knows is to Kick as_s and boy he does that well. And he does gets his witty one-liner which makes the hall roar in laughter and amazement.
I will not reveal much of the plot. All I will tell you is that its based on cyber-terrorism where the enemy is not so evident. The movie has some breath-taking stunts - imagine John (Bruce) crashing his car into a helicopter because he ran out of bullets, or dodging a fully armored F-16 fighter plane on hi 50 Ft trailer. Man this is action at is adrenalin pumping best. Watch it to believe it. Full satisfaction guaranteed.
