somewhere on net, I got this image of Lord Macaulay's address to the British Parliament in 1835. and couldnt resist sharing it with all fundoos....
This shows the kind of intention British were having and the richness of India in all respects..

sorry to disappoint but this looks quite manipulative. in line with other such misleading stuff circulating on the web.

its quite long and says nothing similar to whats noted here. The only fact seems to be that in 1835 English was enforced as the language of government. Rest all seems made up...
